WhatsApp has improved (changed) the status update look

  • The status update feature has already been launched on September 13, 2023 and has been renamed to “Update”. Whenever you have seen a status, it will not appear in front of the Updates tab.
  • The viewed status will be moved to the drop down button called “Viewed Updates”.
  • The front end of the Updates tab shows only statuses that have not been viewed/played or new statuses that have not been played.
  • Apart from this there is also a Channels option under the Updates tab where some suggested channels are visible.
  • You can add more channels and follow them to see their updates.
  • Users can now send high pixel images to their contacts in conversations. If you also want this feature then you should tap on the ‘HD’ button while previewing the image just before sending.
  • Another professional and educational feature that team leaders want is mobile screen sharing, this feature is now available during video calls. There is an option called “Screen Share” available during a video call, just tap it and your screen will be shared with the person who is on the other side of the video call.
